About the Role

Serco, a leading Space Services Provider, is seeking an experienced and dynamic End-to-End Technical Coordinator to join our international team in Rome. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight and control of the Payload Data Ground Segment (PDGS) of ESA Earth Explorers missions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Key Activities: Analyze end-to-end performance and its impact on all services within the PDGS.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the PDGS Ground Segment Manager, ESA, and external interfaces to ensure seamless communication and incident management.
  • Oversee Change Management: Ensure that changes to the PDGS are properly managed and implemented.
  • Organize Meetings: Coordinate regular meetings with Service Team, ESA, and Industries to report on PDGS status, incidents, and problems resolution.
Requirements
  • University Degree: In engineering or a related technical field.
  • Project and Team Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing projects and teams.
  • Data Processing Chain Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of data processing chains, preferably related to Earth Observation Ground Segments.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and share/acquire knowledge, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
