Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CFD Engineer to join our team at Red Bull's Formula 1 operation. As a key member of our aerodynamics department, you will be responsible for driving forward the engine cooling development of our race car.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement CFD simulations for engine cooling systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve cooling solutions
  • Work with the CFD Mechanical Group to prepare, execute, and report on CFD and experimental studies
  • Evaluate and recommend advanced cooling technologies to enhance system efficiency and reliability
  • Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced engineers

**Requirements:**

  • PhD/Master's Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Aerodynamics
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in CFD analysis gained in F1
  • Full understanding of Aerodynamic theories, CFD methods, and CAD surfacing
  • Experience in using Open source (OF) and/or commercial CFD software
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as C, C++, and Python
