About the Role

Takeda Pharmaceutical is embarking on a transformative journey, leveraging Data, Digital and Technology (DD&T) to revolutionize its business. Our Italian production site is fully committed to this initiative.

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative individual to lead our digital and technological strategy roadmap, collaborating with stakeholders and IT leaders to drive digital transformation projects and achieve our DD&T goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop DD&T solutions to business problems, adhering to enterprise architecture direction and standards.
  • Prioritize initiatives by understanding business value, dependencies, and risks, making decisive choices under pressure.
  • Develop user stories and specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings, ensuring implementation of design principles, technical guidelines, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives and projects.
  • Provide technical support, coordinating monitoring of daily operations.
  • Lifecycle Management process for computerized systems, following GxP process changes.
  • Coordinate hardware and software selection, purchasing, installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master degree in IT/Computer Science/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or relevant field, with relevant years of experience in Manufacturing.
  • 5+ years' experience in applying information systems solutions to business problems, with experience (including hands-on) on large, complex DD&T projects from start to end.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, strong business acumen, and ability to understand and address business requirements.
  • Strong and effective leadership, self-management, time management, and project/program management skills.
  • Good knowledge of TechOps/DevOps, infrastructure, and system implementations.
  • Experience in programming/data manipulation and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Working knowledge of SCRUM, Agile Methodologies, Change Management, Project Management.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and techniques.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence others across all levels of the organization to drive transformational change.
  • Ability to write and speak in the English language, fluently.
