Sales Specialist - Automation Systems

About the Role

The Sales Specialist is responsible for coordinating all sales activities to achieve specific goals in diverse products, customers, and amounts based on BU Strategy.

A Snapshot of Your Day

In the department SV CD, we are responsible for Servicing Installed Base Power Plant Control Systems, AVR, and Digitalization. The Sales Specialist will develop relationships with customers, looking for new opportunities, presenting Controls and Digitalization solutions and service contracts for Power Generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with customers and present Controls and Digitalization solutions and service contracts for Power Generation.
  • Influence main partners and customer decision-makers.
  • Develop tools, reports, and dashboards to evaluate sales trends in comparison with budget.
  • Present the best technical and commercial solution and negotiate contracts with customers.
  • Lead opportunities and offers for national and international markets.
  • Propose consulting services for digitalization of machines or plants and for improving energy efficiency.

Requirements

  • Consistent professional experience, at least 3/5 years, in Sales or as Proposal/Bid specialist preferably in a multinational company.
  • Experience with DCS, Control Systems, AVR, and Digitalization is considered a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Appropriate communication skills.
  • Available to frequent business trips on national and international basis.
  • Knowledge of Italian and English at professional working proficiency level. Other languages as German are desirable.
