Role Overview
Serco is seeking a skilled Satellite Systems Engineer to join our team for the Sentinel-2 mission. As a key member of our Ground Segment team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the satellite's ground segment, including data flow management and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze data flow to ensure completeness and timeliness;
- Identify and report any deviations from expected performance;
- Coordinate operations with multiple services and stakeholders;
- Manage operations documentation and configuration;
- Provide support to the DEV team for monitoring and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Expertise in performance monitoring and reporting;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
