About the Job

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic culinary trainee to join our team at Don Julio Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar in Orlando, Florida. As a trainee chef, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing a variety of dishes and learning from experienced chefs.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications set by the restaurant.
  • Restock all items as needed throughout the shift.
  • Clean and maintain station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
  • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or Kitchen Manager at any time.
Requirements
  • Age: 18-35 years old.
  • Education: Graduated from an accredited institution with a degree related to the job position, and at least 12 months of professional experience, or a young professional with at least 5 years of work experience in the field of interest.
  • English Proficiency: Intermediate.
  • Language required: English. Spanish is a plus.
