About Roarington

We are a company dedicated to preserving the legacy of classic cars in a rapidly changing world. Our mission is to promote heritage and preservation of classic cars in a sustainable future.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with DevOps experience to help us operate and develop our platform, which contains the metaland served by pixel streaming from Unreal Engine. As the first DevOps engineer at Roarington, you will be responsible for managing the entire deployment and running of the platform, evaluating and monitoring the technologies and services employed, and executing and deploying platform updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and run the Roarington platform
  • Maintain and update contracts with service and hosting providers
  • Deploy updates and fixes
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Ensure application scalability, performance, and security
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain server-side application logic
  • Develop APIs for web and mobile applications
  • Implement automated testing
Requirements
  • 5+ years work experience as a Front End Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Professional experience as DevOps
  • Professional experience using Docker, Git, Linux as release technologies
  • Professional experience using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Incognito, RDS,...)
  • Professional experience using Java and possibly C# and DotNet
  • Optional: experience using Unreal Engine
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Team spirit
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
What We Offer
  • Attractive compensation: €35,000 - €45,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and skills.
  • Choice of location: You have the flexibility to primarily work remotely, with the option to use our office in Milano.
  • Travel opportunities: Occasionally, you have the opportunity to travel to our headquarters in Vaduz.
