Job Summary:

As an HMI Specialist at Bertrandt, you will be responsible for steering and coordinating HMI development activities in-vehicle displays and switches. This includes creating and presenting UI/UX concepts for new functionalities on infotainment, instrument cluster, and head-up display.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer and coordinate HMI development activities in-vehicle displays and switches.
  • Create and present UI/UX concepts for new functionalities on infotainment, instrument cluster, and head-up display.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation applying requirement engineering methodologies.
  • Perform feasibility analysis and provide documentation for concept and development.
  • Coordinate with engineering partners and suppliers to analyze and validate CAD data.
  • Maintain specifications and documentation provided.
  • Identify and fix bugs.
  • Document HMI preferences and provide feedback.
  • Document new HMI content and simulator reports.
  • Develop and present concept studies for new functions.
  • Track and implement software releases.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design according to automotive regulations.
  • Knowledge of HMI development software.
  • Knowledge of software development process (v-cycle).
  • Knowledge of HMI prototyping tools.
  • Knowledge of CAN communication protocols and diagnostic tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in Jira/Confluence/Canalyzer/CANoe.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Valid driving license B.
