Job Description

We are seeking a PR Senior Account Executive/Account Manager with expertise in tech PR to join our Milan team. As a key member of our team, you will use your determination and enthusiasm to work with a wide range of tech brands, driving innovative integrated comms campaigns and inspiring junior team members. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of clients, leading press office activities, and developing award-winning ideas that engage diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 4-5 clients, primarily B2B, ensuring day-to-day accounting, deliverables, media relations, reporting, and priorities are met.
  • Manage more junior members of the team as necessary.
  • Have a results-focused approach to work, ensuring client delight through deliverables.
  • Get hands-on and be a real team player.
  • Have a strategic viewpoint, thinking about upcoming months and planning ahead based on SOWs.
  • Develop strong media and influencer relationships in the tech area and continuously strive to keep these sharp.
  • Consistently think outside of plans to give clients new and exciting ideas for campaigns that hit business objectives and grow accounts organically.
  • Be a master at juggling multiple projects at once, instilling senior clients with confidence and motivating the team beneath you.
  • Be involved in new business pitches, market analysis, and creative brainstorming.

Requirements

  • About 5-7 years' experience in a dynamic PR environment, ideally within the innovation, BtoB tech areas (such as IT, TLC, AI, energy, automotive) - tech expertise is mandatory.
  • Proficient English, both written and spoken.
  • Good media, social media, and wider influencer contacts.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Autonomy on major press office tools.
  • Experience on international client work.
  • The ability to manage priorities and multi-task, creative thinking, and proven problem-solving capability.
  • A genuine interest in, and thorough knowledge of technology and digital commerce.
  • A proven client management record.
  • Some experience in managing people.
  • Experience in new business pitches and competitive analysis.
  • A real team player attitude.
  • Ambition, drive, and motivation.
