About the Role

This Italy-based position will be responsible for overseeing Cero's Italian renewable energy projects and reporting to the Head of Development, Italy. The successful candidate will work closely with Cero's development partners to develop renewable projects in Italy, focusing on solar and storage.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver Cero's pipeline of projects from development to construction, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Act as the local representative and day-to-day point of contact for development partners, ensuring Cero's standards and policies are incorporated into all projects.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of the program's output, planning and governance, and coordinating with external service providers.
  • Support project evaluation, both technically and economically, and identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate steering committee meetings, manage the dedicated third-party team, and ensure respect of deadlines and proper preparation for internal approvals.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in project management and delivery, gained through managing large and complex infrastructure projects.
  • Good knowledge of project and program management methodology and techniques.
  • A good understanding of the wider objectives of the program.
  • The ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved in program management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the renewables sector.
  • A relevant university degree in environmental science or engineering.
