Industrial Continuous Improvement Specialist

About the Role:

The Industrial Continuous Improvement Intern will report directly to the Industrial Director and work in the production area of Montblanc North America.

During this internship, you will be introduced to the industrial processes of leather goods and the culture of Continuous Improvement.

You will have the opportunity to improve production performance, create new valuable opportunities for the business through data analysis and report management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out analysis and reports to evaluate AS IS performance and the impact of improvement actions implemented (TO BE)
  • Carry out the principle of problem escalation (Daily Kaizen)
  • Collaborate with product development, production, purchasing, quality, and industrialization advancement teams to retrieve information, analyze data, and find the best solutions together
  • Map processes and create functional documentation (procedures) to create specific visual dashboards to share daily or monthly results
  • Set up Dashboards to monitor the entire performance of the industrial area

Requirements:

  • Degree in Management Engineering or a related field
  • Mastery of Excel (Pivot, macro, etc.) and Power Point
  • Good English level (B1 or upper)
  • Problem-solving skills, independence, and ability to communicate with different stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus
  • Curiosity for production processes within the fashion and luxury industry
