Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Layout Engineer to join our Renewable Gas Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing plant arrangements for Tender and Execution projects, as well as preparing and updating various plans such as layout, load tables, and construction data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop plant layouts for Renewable Gas plants, including AD and Methanation for upgrade/retrofit proposals and execution projects
  • Prepare, update, and check various plans, including layout, load tables, construction data, steel construction, platforms, ducting, and piping
  • Incorporate and check drawings from external and internal suppliers
  • Ensure the exchange of all required layout data with the project team, consortium partners, and suppliers of engineering services
  • Attend internal and external meetings to review models
  • Act as the contact person in the project team for all layout-related issues in the assigned area
  • Ensure maintainability, accessibility, and constructability studies in assigned areas, including planning corridors, safety requirements, functionality, logistics, ease of assembly, and modular design
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, as well as HSE requirements

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Revit (Autodesk) and other engineering tools, such as Navisworks and AutoCad
  • Experience in plant/layout design for Renewable Gas Plants or equivalent, regarding structural and mechanical designs, piping routing, and equipment/systems arrangement
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical apprenticeship as Design Engineer or Plant Construction Engineer
  • Profound understanding of 2D and 3D CAD methodology
  • Very good MS Office user skills
  • Fluency in English, Italian, and German are a plus
  • Autonomous, solution-driven, and persuading personality
  • Willingness to travel
