We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Calibration and Maintenance Coordinator to join our Quality Control team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct calibration and maintenance status of our laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily calibration activities to ensure equipment is functioning within specified parameters.
- Manage equipment calibration status, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
- Provide support for analytical hardware and software-related tasks, adhering to logical security regulations.
- Ensure accurate documentation management, both in paper and electronic formats, in compliance with GMP regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs for internal and external users.
- Participate in the creation, update, and decommissioning of documentation, including risk assessments, CAPAs, and master Excel spreadsheets.
- Evaluate changes and deviations, implementing relevant action plans.
- Assess the reliability of equipment and new projects.
- Perform QC equipment troubleshooting activities.
- Support audit-related topics.
- University degree in a relevant field (Chemical, CTF, or equivalent) or diploma with meaningful experience in this role.
- Previous experience in a GMP pharmaceutical laboratory or as a supplier for laboratory equipment production company.
- Good English language skills (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of GLP/GMP regulations.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques, laboratory equipment, and related software.
- Precision and attention to detail.
- Collaboration, self-organization, and good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of data management systems (e.g., Trackwise, Documentum) is helpful.
