Job Summary:

The Department of the Army is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Information Technology Specialist - Policy and Planning to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT policies and procedures that align with the Army's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that align with the Army's strategic goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff on IT policy and planning matters.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with IT regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • One year of specialized experience in IT policy and planning, including experience in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
  • Experience in providing technical guidance and support to IT staff on IT policy and planning matters.
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT projects and initiatives.
  • Experience in developing and managing IT budgets and resource allocation plans.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with IT regulations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in IT policy and planning, such as CompTIA ITIL or ITSM.
  • Experience in IT service management, including experience in developing and implementing IT service management processes.
