Job Title: Pharmacy Director - Florence Medical Center

Description:

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Director to lead the pharmacy services at Florence Medical Center. As a key member of the hospital's leadership team, the successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of strategies to improve patient care, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and oversight to pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality patient care and services.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance patient satisfaction.
3. Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including accreditation standards and laws governing pharmacy practice.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in pharmacy management.

Requirements:

1. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy degree program.
2. Minimum of five years of clinical pharmacy experience, with at least two years of management or supervisory experience.
3. Current licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of South Carolina.
4. ASHP-accredited residency or fellowship experience preferred.
