Senior Pastry Craftsman

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie Baker to join our kitchen team at Splendido Mare, a charming guesthouse in the heart of Portofino. As part of our prestigious hotel, we embody the pleasures of piazzetta living through refined cuisine, curated in partnership with the 3-Michelin-star Cerea family.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation: Oversee the production of bakery products, ensuring high-quality standards and maintaining safety, health, and hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen.
• Control and Monitoring: Monitor waste control, control incoming goods, and store them in perfect conditions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Support the pastry team and work as a team player, providing effective communication and emotional intelligence.

Requirements:

• Expertise: Thorough knowledge of cooking styles, equipment, and raw materials processing techniques.
• Professional Experience: At least 3 years of previous professional experience within the same role.
• Soft Skills: Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.

Benefits:

• Seasonal Labour Contract: According to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 4, Chef de Partie.
• Salary and Benefits: Monthly gross salary around €2,400, with a separate payslip for 13°, 14°, and TFR, and a monthly welfare incentive based on quality goals + welcome bonus.
• Accommodation and Transportation: Accommodation in our staff house including breakfast, and bus ticket as a benefit for the contract period.
