Your Role
As an Automation Control Specialist, you will collaborate with a skilled team to ensure the seamless operation of automated systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local Operations, Planning, Technical Engineers, and IT teams to optimize Material Handling Equipment (MHE) systems and implement projects effectively.
- Assist the Contract Logistics System Manager in daily operations and ensure compliance with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Oversee the control room operations, identifying areas for improvement and fostering a culture of continuous enhancement.
- Monitor SCADA/WCS/WMS systems and support escalation for any technical issues to maintain the flow of operations.
- Report technical anomalies related to MHE systems to local Technical Engineers, adhering to established priorities and deadlines.
- Conduct performance evaluations, documenting issues and creating prioritized action plans to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement reports to analyze automated system operations and proactively identify potential challenges.
Your Skills and Experiences
- 2 to 5 years of experience in large-scale automated fulfillment operations, preferably in eCommerce, Fashion, or Retail sectors within multinational environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects related to automated systems commissioning, software integration, and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of automated systems such as SCADA and PLC, along with familiarity with WMS and WCS in operational settings.
- Experience in data-driven environments that prioritize strict SLAs and deadlines, with the ability to manage tasks effectively using ticketing systems.
