We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our AI innovation team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning models to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras to solve complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into effective data-driven solutions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of user interactions and model performance continuously, iterating on feedback.
  • Engage in knowledge sharing and contribute to the team's collective learning and success.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of extensive experience in data science, machine learning, or a related role, with a distinguished record of innovative contributions and leadership in technology development.
  • Expertise in developing and training advanced machine learning models, deploying scalable machine learning solutions in production environments, and designing and implementing deep learning architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in utilizing big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Hadoop for handling and analyzing large datasets.
  • Mastery of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques, applying rigorous validation methods to assess model reliability and performance.
  • Experience in implementing real-time inference systems, optimizing models for latency and throughput to meet the demands of live data processing and decision-making applications.
