Job Description
- This role involves driving profitable growth in Financial Lines – D&O by creating complex risk solutions. You will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business using your relationship building skills.
- You will work closely with brokers to communicate risk appetite and our value proposition, understand deal structures, terms, and products that meet clients' needs, and negotiate pricing, terms & conditions, and deal structure with brokers and clients.
- It is essential to generate new business by expanding your broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market. You will collaborate with AIG Distribution, territory managers, and underwriters in other business lines to target desirable accounts and cross-selling opportunities.
- As a senior member of the team, you will set a high standard of customer service to brokers and clients, providing an example for junior colleagues to follow. You will also provide guidance, mentoring, and training to less-experienced underwriters, supporting them in building their broker network.
