As a Software Development Leader, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing embedded applications for railway equipment and electronic devices. Your expertise will help us deliver cutting-edge solutions for train communication and diagnostics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead software design, development, and testing for embedded applications.
  • Manage software development resources and activities on assigned projects.
  • Ensure timely delivery of software baselines according to QCD requirements.

Accountable for:

  • Delivery of train software according to engineering work packages.
  • Deployment and application of train control and information solutions development procedures, processes, and design rules.
  • Maintaining and controlling KPIs for projects and reporting to the S/W Domain Leader.
  • Accountable for software validation.

Responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing embedded software modules for TCMS equipment in compliance with software requirements, software design specification, and interface control documents.
  • Monitoring, controlling, and consolidating software development work-packages, managing project timelines, and reporting delays or issues to work package owners or supervisors.
  • Defining functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
  • Integrating software modules within TCMS subsystems and in-charge of configuration management for software activities.
  • Ensuring overall performance of executable code loaded on targets for projects led.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or bachelor's degree in electronic or software engineering required.
  • Hands-on development experience of software phases like requirement gathering, software development, hardware-software integration, etc. (minimum of 2 years' experience in railway or automotive domain).
  • High experience in software embedded design and implementation for complex diagnostics data management systems using C/C++ language.
  • Good working level knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
  • Good working level knowledge of network protocols like MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RS 232, RS 485.
