Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Traction Control Engineer to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and validating traction control converter lines based on standard components and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for traction subsystems, including LV schemes, Syrs, and FRS, in collaboration with the SW department, Power Engineering, and Industrial Design.
- Collaborate with the SW development team to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
- Participate in validation and integration tests on heavy and light digital simulators and combined test benches.
- Utilize simulation models of traction control systems to optimize design and performance.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in traction or auxiliary engineering.
- Strong understanding of power converters, IGBT devices, traction systems, and asynchronous motors.
- Proficiency in control techniques and simulation tools.
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamics, and aerodynamics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
