Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our Procurement team at Elemaster. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring electronic components in accordance with our supply chain strategies and internal materials & production planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Procure electronic components from global suppliers in accordance with our supply chain strategies and internal materials & production planning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality components.
- Conduct material risk analysis and management to improve material availability and align contracts with procurement strategy.
- Negotiate commercial and contractual deals with suppliers to optimize supply terms and conditions.
- Manage and forecast consignment stock with strategic suppliers to optimize stock levels.
- Establish open book cost models with key suppliers to achieve annual cost reduction targets.
- Collaborate closely with planning, manufacturing, and outsourcing departments to meet turnover and profitability targets.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or comparable education.
Experience: Minimum 7-8 years of general experience, preferably in EMS sector and international environment. Minimum 3-4 years as Senior Buyer or Commodity Manager for Electronics components.
Skills: Technical knowledge of main electronic components categories, good understanding of electronic market trends, clear logic, quick learning, and analytical skills. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Language: Professional and fluent English is mandatory. French and/or German are a plus.
