Elevator Design Leadership Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead our design team in creating innovative elevator components. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

About the Team
You will be working closely with our cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and technicians to deliver successful projects. Our team is passionate about innovation and excellence, and we are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design leadership: Develop and implement design strategies that drive innovation and excellence in every phase of the design and development lifecycle.
  • Full lifecycle ownership: Own designs from concept to release, leading validation efforts, running simulations, conducting physical testing, and overseeing every aspect of the component lifecycle.
  • Technical expertise: Review designs, lead investigations, and define specifications that guide the development of next-gen elevator components.
  • Team leadership and mentorship: Lead and inspire a team of engineers, helping others grow and develop their skills while coordinating technical efforts to ensure project success.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven track record of experience in mechanical engineering, with strong knowledge in designing and developing mechanical components.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience leading a technical team.
  • Expertise in design and validation, including documentation (DFMEA, RA) and a strong grasp of mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo, Windchill) and FEM calculations is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus).
