The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join the Venues & Infrastructure (VNI) functional area. This position will play a key role in delivering the project in line with agreed milestones, project plans, and budgets.

Job Description

This role will support the VNI team in managing overlay cost & contract planning and execution for competition and non-competition venues or commodities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing overlay cost & contract planning and execution;
  • Assisting in the preparation of delivery information required for procurement of professional services and overlay works;
  • Scheduling/planning coordination, cost planning, and site delivery/safety purposes;
  • Establishing and communicating delivery processes, including change management, to suppliers and stakeholders;
  • Responsible for full management of one or more VNI contracts;
  • Integrating and aligning delivery of VNI projects using structured planning systems and processes;
  • Managing relationships with service providers/contractors to ensure efficient and effective delivery;
  • Cross-functional relationships to ensure effective communication and coordination;
  • Providing support to the team to design to a budget;
  • Sharing ideas and information with the team and contributing to the team environment;
  • Awareness and compliance with Corporation's health and safety policies, standards, practices, and program.

An estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management;
  • Excellent language skills in English; knowledge of one or several other Olympic movement official languages is an advantage;
  • IT-experienced, knowledge of usual office software and technical drawings software;
  • Knowledge in Overlay Cost & Contract management of major sporting venues;
  • Knowledge and understanding of program and project management within a sports and major events environment, including cyclical planning requirements;
  • Contract management role in a major event/construction/engineering environment;
  • Qualification in Cost Management/Business Administration/Engineering.
