About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Reliability Engineer to join our team in Bologna, Italy. As a key member of our AC Power Global Large Converter COE department, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from components and applications to drive failure mode analysis and improve product reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and report potential failures within processes
  • Perform tests and analysis as required
  • Conduct design and application failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and MTBF calculation
  • Develop corrective action plans to solve identified issues and track implementation
  • Create and optimize processes to collect lessons learned and track implementation
  • Provide analysis and reports to illustrate and showcase analysis and correction plans to leadership
  • Liaise with relevant teams on analysis outcomes
Requirements
  • Fault tree analysis and dynamic reliability block-diagram analysis
  • Human error analysis, operational hazard analysis, reliability hazard analysis
  • Customer-oriented and availability to travel
  • English language knowledge
  • Data management skills: ability to use statistical analysis tools and interpret results
  • Continuous improvement mindset: identifying and implementing ways to improve reliability
  • Safety-conscious: ability to identify potential hazards and mitigate them
  • Project management: ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • University degree or equivalent
  • 1-7 years of experience
