Job Description

We are looking for a motivated intern to support our Seed Supply Chain team in Italy. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the agricultural industry and to develop a deep understanding of seed production, distribution, and logistics processes.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Support the Seed Supply Chain team in Italy
  • Assist in updating and monitoring the production request in alignment with Sales needs, identify delays
  • Assist in monitoring the supply allocation at bi-weekly level
  • Assist in tracking the overall production progress against production plan by phase
  • Logistics and inventory management
  • Assist in tracking intercompany shipments and last mile deliveries
  • Help to identify delays
  • Documentation and reporting
  • Prepare reports related to production and logistics activities
  • Assist in data analysis and the preparation of key supply chain metrics
  • Communication and collaboration
  • Work closely with internal departments such as supply chain, production, quality supply, and logistics
  • Work closely with internal customers such as Sales and Marketing
  • Participate in meetings with focus on work progress and results of the Italian market
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Owning or currently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Interest in agriculture and supply chain management
  • Basic knowledge of quality assurance and inventory management including ERP (e.g. SAP) is of advantage
  • Good communication skills in English and Italian
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
