Are you passionate about navigating the world of high-quality service and products in the cruise business? As a Buyer with our Procurement & Supply Chain department, you'll have the opportunity to shape sourcing strategies across the Italian, European, and global markets for Costa Crociere.

Our purchasing department is your anchor for success in Costa's hotel products category.

Interfacing with the internal team of buyers, you are responsible for aligning strategic purchasing across functions and managing the current supplier portfolio to ensure a high standard of hotel products quality is maintained.

How you'll live your ambition: From our offices in Genoa, as a Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in scouting national and international suppliers, defining our hotel products sourcing strategy in global markets, and implementing short-, medium- and long-term strategies in line with the Costa and Carnival Corporation needs and policy at the most competitive cost base.

Your role will be to understand the complexity of our business needs and ensure the implementation of the most effective strategies.

You will serve as the primary point of contact and the commercial and contractual liaison between Costa and our Category suppliers.

To reach our goals, you will engage with various stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in ensuring that our suppliers' performance aligns in the right direction.

Safety First Thanks to your experience, you will be able to handle all specification and contract documentation.

What makes you unique You're a master in your role, shaped by your involvement in international and complex contexts where you've handled strategic procurement, category management, or similar for at least 5 years.

Your passion and interest in the Hotel, Tourism and Travel industry have defined your journey.

We expect that you have gained significant experience on different category products and the process of purchasing a finished garment, taking care of their quality and efficiency painstakingly.

An academic background in Economics, Business, or Supply Chain Management has been your starting point.

Your experience and knack for building strong alliances with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in collaborating to drive strategic initiatives and achieve exceptional business results.

Driving cost optimization through shrewd negotiation tactics, you'll secure the best terms while upholding our standards of quality and service.
