About the Role:

Mercer is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our HR M&A and Change Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing small and mid-scale M&A projects, driving the execution of complex projects, and providing expert advice on people and HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage small and mid-scale M&A projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Drive the execution of complex projects, taking ownership of specific tasks and responsibilities.
  • Participate in pre-transaction, transaction, and post-transaction activities, focusing on people and HR-related matters.
  • Support Change Management and communications, assisting in the implementation of change management strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Services Industry vertical and the PEMA team at MMC to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting and/or industry roles, including HR Due diligence, change management initiatives, organizational design, and development.
  • Experience supporting and/or delivering Human Capital M&A projects, including restructuring, enterprise cost reduction, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions and processes, with experience in HR Mergers & Acquisition, HR Due Diligence, HR Strategy, and HR Employee Experience.
  • Strong business acumen, ability to work effectively across teams, levels, and cultures, and excellent communication skills.
  • Italian and English fluency, with strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and data analysis.
