- Defining new product ideas, selecting projects for innovation, and organizing project management.
- Collaborating with other company functions to develop long-term product development projects in line with the company's strategic objectives.
- Monitoring research and development activities, product assistance, and technical support, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Defining research and development objectives and strategies, ensuring the implementation of approved plans in accordance with current regulations.
- Providing technical guidelines to Product Laboratory Staff for item development.
- Collaborating in the selection of strategic suppliers involved in research and development and technical assistance.
- Providing up-to-date information on technologies relevant to or potentially relevant to company products and processes to various company departments.
- Participating in the definition of the R&D budget.
- Collaborating in the professional development of all personnel involved in product and process R&D activities.
- Identifying and anticipating new opportunities and trends in technologies or materials, participating in trade fairs or sector events.
- Identifying and selecting available and/or potentially developable technologies, defining their acquisition and commercial protection methods.
- Cultivating relationships for the development of synergies with universities and research institutions, individual and collective interlocutors (clients, suppliers, other companies, professional communities, research centers) that share a system of exchange and/or contractual relationships, functional to the development of collective learning.
Requirements:
- Degree and/or Master's degree in Chemistry;
- Previous experience in the paint or related sectors (Chemical Industry, Plastics and Polymers, Cosmetics area - coatings);
- Previous experience in team coordination;
- Good knowledge of management software and tools;
- Precision and organization;
- Residence in the area.
