Transportation Consultant

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented transportation consultant to join our team in Bologna, Italy. As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work on complex transportation models and related analytical tasks using a range of technical tools (VISUM, VISSIM, Emme, CUBE).

You will contribute to effective project performance on both financial and behavioural measures, collaborating with colleagues across the business to provide high-quality consulting and differentiated services to our clients.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven experience using transportation modelling tools to support transportation consultancy, including:

• Macrosimulation and network modelling (VISUM)
• Spreadsheet modelling (Excel)
• Understanding and application of logit models
• Knowledge of Microsimulation software (VISSIM, VISTRO)
• Knowledge of GIS software
• Knowledge of Statistical analysis (R, Stata)

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a Master's degree in planning, engineering or a related field, ideally with a transportation focus, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
