Job Description

Life in Spa is seeking two experienced Senior System Administrators to join our team in Rome. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of our hardware and software systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, with a focus on system administration, network security, and data protection. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and integrity of our systems and data, as well as providing technical support to our users.

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical skillset, including knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac OS, as well as experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V. You should also have expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and OpenShift.

In addition to your technical skills, you should have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in system administration, preferably in a structured organization

Technical Requirements:

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, router, switch, firewall, etc.
  • Experience with backup, restore, security, and automation tools like Acronis, Symantec, and PowerShell
  • Competence in at least one virtualization platform
  • Ability to design and maintain containerized systems

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be based in Rome and will work full-time, with the possibility of working some days a week in a remote setting. The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
