We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Attorney with expertise in the Biology and Biotechnology fields to join our team at Omega Consulting Group Gmbh in Rome. As a member of our Patent Team, you will work with a diverse range of national and international clients, including pharma companies, research institutions, start-ups, and universities, and will be encouraged to develop and build relationships with new clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise and support clients in all IP aspects, from drafting and prosecuting patent applications to providing patentability, validity, and freedom-to-operate opinions on a wide range of biotechnology innovations.
- Work collaboratively and proactively with the team to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in biotechnology and intellectual property law.
- University Degree in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Patent Attorney, preferably in private practice.
- European patent attorney qualification; partial qualification will be considered.
- Strong and documented experience in the fields of life sciences and biotechnology.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Remote working possibilities with occasional travel to Rome for strategic meetings.
