Location: Peschiera Borromeo (MI) office, hybrid role with flexible working from home.

Hours: full-time

Salary: 45,000 EUR gross (depending on the experience level)

About the Role

As an Automation Specialist at SPX FLOW, you will be instrumental in developing advanced automation and electrical solutions for various projects within the food & beverage and pharmaceutical sectors. Your expertise will be essential in driving innovation and ensuring excellence in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of automation and electrical solutions across multiple SPX FLOW projects in Italy.
• Participate in comprehensive electrical and automation projects, including contributing to proposal development.
• Supervise and support suppliers and subcontractors throughout the project's lifecycle, including development, testing, and commissioning.
• Provide project assistance with expertise in modifying or creating software, including PLC and SCADA systems, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Technical education (diploma) and/or significant experience in the electrical or industrial automation domain.
• Proven experience in managing electrical and automation projects within the food & beverage or pharmaceutical industries.
• Hands-on skills in designing and implementing automation software and hardware.
• Familiarity with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Able to oversee external software and electrical teams (subcontractors).
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% within Italy for project-related activities.
• Valid work permit in the EU and Schengen countries.
