We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team at Microsoft. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

• Drive positive customer satisfaction and become a trusted advisor to our customers.
• Provide feedback and insights from customers and partners to inform our solution roadmap.
• Be the voice of the customer, sharing insights and best practices with global security teams, engineering, and product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.
• Land an end-to-end value proposition for data security that spans the breadth of understanding regulations, business information security policies, and connecting into the Microsoft Purview platform.
• Position and deliver solutions that drive data security product usage and develop opportunities to drive customer success business results and help customers get value from their Microsoft investments.
• Identify resolutions to customer blockers by leveraging subject matter expertise and deliver according to Microsoft best practices and using repeatable intellectual property.
• Accelerate business value of overall data security adoption by improving information security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits 'Secure by Design' framework.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field and 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or business applications consulting.
• OR equivalent experience.
• Business value: the ability to convey the business need and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision makers.
• Trusted advisership: the ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders through an understanding of customer needs and technologies.
• Situational fluency: using self-awareness as a mechanism to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues to increase your ability to 'read the room.'
• Insightful listening: asking insightful questions to understand the customer needs, issues, business environment, and drivers, and going beyond what is said.
• Breadth of technical experience and knowledge in foundational AI, architecture design, with depth/subject matter expertise in security.
• The technical aptitude and experience to learn new cloud security technologies and understand relevant cloud security market trends and knowledge of competitive landscape: of cloud security platforms and competitors.
• Subject matter expertise in two or more of the following data security solutions: Microsoft Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, Azure Purview, structured and unstructured data security, Compliance Manager, (Advanced) eDiscovery, Microsoft Priva.
