Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling projects across various sectors, including Industrial, Science & Technology, and Energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement project planning and scheduling strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of schedules produced, maintaining independence as a planning engineer when advising on issues requiring judgment.
  • Balance multiple projects executed in multiple locations and by multiple contractors.
  • Track and monitor portfolio schedule.
  • Prepare integrated planning and scheduling contribution to the Monthly Project Report and specific reports/presentations.
  • Analyze and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance/change orders.
  • Prepare resourcing plans for the overall and individual project phases, identifying any excessive peak numbers and making recommendations for peak leveling.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of planning and scheduling policies, methods, and procedures, including advanced planning and scheduling techniques, risk analysis, and risk management.
  • Advanced level of experience using project scheduling tools, such as MS Project, Primavera P6, SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Pertmaster.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports.
  • Knowledge and experience of all main design or project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience of working with contractors in a project management or scheduler/planner capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions.
  • Membership of a recognized professional body desirable.
  • Good knowledge and experience gained within Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Chemical sectors.
