About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team at Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. in Rovigo, Italy. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure the smooth operation of our Fulfilment Centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of professionals to achieve business objectives and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and implement corrective actions to improve quality and productivity, and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including peers, leadership, and external partners, to ensure seamless operations and meet customer demands.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritize routine team management and daily operational tasks, and address individual escalations and process improvement work.
About the Team

Our Customer Fulfilment team is the foundation of our business, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that is always looking for ways to improve and innovate. As an Area Manager, you will be part of a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding business targets.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree)
  • Language: Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Experience: Relevant experience in performing data analysis and leading a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Communication Skills: Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
  • AR Experience: Recommended
  • Logistical Experience: Experience working in a logistical working environment
  • MS Office Suite: Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
