TALENT Tree is seeking a qualified FP&A Controller to join their highly innovative team in the Life Sciences sector.

The successful candidate will handle the following activities:

  • Manage and organise a cost accounting department, maintain analytical accounting (cost centre/project) and reporting system;
  • Assist in the preparation of company's business model, budget, forecasts and actual vs. budget comparative analysis. Update the business model based on company developments.
  • Assist the CFO and Finance Manager in the drawing up quarterly and year-end financial statement. Organize the activities associated with the drawing up of documents, gather the necessary information to be included in the documents.
  • For the more relevant R&D agreements, FP&A has been taking ownership to analyze and review those agreements, working with colleagues responsible for related the R&D, Quality and CMC, Clinical Affairs activities. Prepare excel files and, monthly, review the status of the work, the % of completion, matched the invoices with purchase orders and agreements, collected support documentations and reconciled balance with vendors.
  • Assist CFO in the preparation of the necessary material for meetings with External Auditors, statutory Auditors and Board of Directors.

To be successful in this role the candidate will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Industrial Management Engineering or related fields.
  • Work experience: at least 4 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis, financial operations in a Company.
  • Language skills: good knowledge of written and oral English (level B2/C1);
  • Computer skills: good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel); Experience using multiple tools including Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Hyperion, among others is a plus.

Location: Hybrid (Milan HQ)

Type of contract: open-end contract, Full Time
