About the Role
As a Senior Oracle DBA at Net2Source Inc., you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients achieve their goals. Your expertise in database concepts, procedures, triggers, packages, database constraints, indexes, and Oracle 11g will be invaluable in identifying current issues and providing solutions to improve performance. Additionally, you will work closely with our team to build deployment packages, promote them to higher environments, and ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Hands-on experience in Oracle DBA* Excellent understanding of database concepts including procedures, triggers, packages, database constraints, indexes using Oracle 11g* Identify current issues and provide solutions to improve performance* Build deployment packages and promote them to higher environments (UAT, Production, and COB following SDLC)* Working knowledge of Linux, Redhat, File System, Cluster Management, Oracle ASMC, and ACFS* Manage and maintain databases across multiple environments* Perform database analysis and provide recommendations* Work on database architecture design and performance optimization* Develop automation scripts to improve platform efficiency* Identify and recommend database design and data models* Provide oversight on low-level design and technically guide the development team* Partner with the development organization to oversee the DB landscape for portfolio* Plan and manage existing/new DB development, manage and customize server configuration as per application needs* Troubleshoot/resolve complex production data issues* Index strategy including fragmentation* Maintain statistics and update statistics* Query tuning including execution plans, indexes* Performance tuning including server config, wait stats* Schema design including partitioning* DB architecture and table design* HA solutions* DRCOB solutions* Application entitlements security review* Archiving historical data
