Position Overview

The role involves ensuring adherence to contractual terms and related charges in joint venture activities, safeguarding the interests of Eni's upstream operations. The candidate will also provide support to foreign subsidiaries engaged in these activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and related cost allocations in joint ventures.
  • Conduct due diligence on historical costs during the acquisition of new assets.
  • Oversee audits received from affiliates, partners, or state-owned companies regarding Eni's operations.
  • Assist affiliates in gathering information requested by auditors, focusing on charges from headquarters.
  • Evaluate and analyze exceptions received, particularly those common across multiple affiliates, to prepare unified responses.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential solutions for optimizing cost allocation models.
  • Assist affiliates in drafting responses to auditors regarding received exceptions.
  • This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with international teams composed of resources from various oil and gas players, providing insights into different business models across countries where Eni operates joint ventures.
  • The audit team is responsible for preparing various audit reports with clear recommendations aimed at minimizing risks and enhancing operational efficiency based on international best practices.
  • The role requires a willingness to travel frequently for international assignments.

Qualifications

Education: Degree in Economics, Finance, or Management Engineering.

Experience: 12-18 months in administration and control, accounting firms, or consulting companies.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and cross-functional problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Languages:

  • English: Advanced written and spoken proficiency.
  • French: Additional language skill is a plus.
