About the Role:

This position reports to the Head of Investigations and is part of the ABB Electrification Business Area Legal and Integrity team. The successful candidate will partner with Human Resources colleagues to effectively investigate various workplace issues of severity levels ranging from low to high.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full life cycle of case management for a broad spectrum of HR related matters
  • Timely conduct full HR integrity investigations in Europe, Middle East, and Africa
  • Prepare detailed investigative reports including case summaries and findings and make recommendations for proper action and resolution
  • Ensure proper case administration, thorough and on-time investigation to meet set deadline KPI, proper documentation of the investigation through report or in the system
  • Convene and run disciplinary committees as appropriate, follow up on any remediation actions from the committees
  • Submit cases for closure in line with investigation framework; track remediation actions from cases
  • Support Legal & Integrity to deliver upskilling training to the HR team and business, including preparing Business Area-specific training materials and communications, scheduling meetings and support in training delivery
  • Support Head of Investigations and assess effectiveness of integrity program

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law or postgraduate studies in an area of Law/Compliance
  • 8+ years of professional experience in the field of HR/Legal
  • Experience in investigations on various HR topics is a must
  • General knowledge of labor law regulations
  • Experience in regional roles will be an advantage, ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Independent personal character and a strong sense of integrity
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent drafting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing environment
  • Fluency in English is required, additional languages a bonus
