About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team at GRS Recruitment. As an Audit Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our audit services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review client information against Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
  • Perform transaction monitoring in accordance with our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
  • Review client information and complete necessary Client Acceptance/Continuance Procedures, handling them to the audit manager or Head of Audit.
  • Conduct audit planning with the assistance of the Audit Manager.
  • Check and prepare all audit documentation.
  • Perform audit workings and tests.
  • Conduct field work for internal control evaluation.
  • Identify potential risks or errors in systems and controls.
  • Assist in advance assurance engagements, such as management reports, due diligence, financial information analysis, and others.
  • Liaise with clients to inform them of applicable deadlines and their obligations.
  • Provide consultation, supervision, and mentoring to auditors and junior auditors.
  • Assist in supervising junior auditors and auditors.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Assist reviewers for the performance of External Quality Control Review (EQCR), Hot, and Cold reviews of specific engagements.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in dealing with the preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent knowledge of Caseware.
  • Very good knowledge of General Basic Cyprus Tax Legislation.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
