Product Owner

Job Description:

A key opportunity has arisen for a Product Owner to join our Propulsion System Controls group in the Agile framework.

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining the Product Vision and Backlog for the squad, coordinating the delivery of significant propulsion features across parallel vehicle programmes.

The current feature set is focused on electric vehicles, including features such as vehicle gear selection, creep and regen level configuration, low power and eco mode behavior, and propulsion HMI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the central point of contact for feature delivery status within the business.
• Interface between the squad and external customers/stakeholders.
• Communicate clear product goals and prioritized backlog to the squad.
• Maintain a strong understanding of JLR's systems engineering framework, software development processes, and verification testing capabilities.
• Ensure upfront alignment and coordination with other interacting squads or groups.

Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of Agile/Scrum product delivery methodology.
• Experience and knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies and tools - ideally within the Automotive Sector.
• Experience of delivering engineering and/or analytical projects - ideally within the automotive industry.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
