Job Purpose

The Project Director will report to the General Manager, Italy, and be responsible for managing consulting projects end-to-end. This includes leading a matrix-based project team, including field staff, and working with global Pharmaceutical organizations to develop strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Maintain current business, win new clients, and expand STEM's business across existing clients.
  • Client Relationships: Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, interview senior leaders, analyze observational data, and present strategic recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Brief and manage project teams, including field interviews with senior leaders.
  • Data Analysis: Develop and stress-test hypotheses, and create bespoke presentations for clients.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree (e.g., Business Studies/Life Sciences).
  • Advanced business degree (e.g., MBA/Certificates) is a plus.
  • In-house Pharma Sales Management, Marketing Management, or Business Unit Head experience with high-level client interaction.
  • Consultancy experience within Pharma is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to network at high levels and interact credibly with senior individuals.
  • Results-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ambitious, independent, and a good team player with leadership skills.
