Job Description

  • To identify the best solutions and software in energy plant design, exploring the market and staying up-to-date with technological advancements.
  • To explore the market identifying the best Vendors' equipment, being aware of evolving materials and technologies.
  • To possess knowledge or attitude to learn the use of software relevant to satellite topographic studies.
  • To define the design and necessary materials for the plant, creating a bill of materials using software.
  • To simulate different plant configurations, optimizing cost and schedule for construction execution.
  • To prepare and update a database with materials and construction costs, serving as a source for plant configuration simulation.
  • To stay informed about the best technical solutions in renewable energy plants and green H2, NH3 plants.
  • To optimize cut and fill works.
  • To prepare MR and WR and evaluate received offers from the market.
  • To support the Planner in preparing project schedules.
  • To assist the Field Engineering Manager in defining alternative solutions for site criticalities.
  • To support the Project Control Manager in preparing progress data.
  • To support constructability analysis and follow-up.
  • To support the Construction department in identifying construction sequences to reduce schedule and costs.
  • To support the Contract Manager in preparing change orders and claims.
  • To support the Subcontract Manager in defining new prices or evaluating work to be paid to subcontractors.
  • To follow up and check external engineering company designs.
  • To support Operation and Maintenance departments in ensuring a smooth handover.

Requirements

  • Degree in Energy or Electrical Engineering.
  • Availability in Electrical Engineering knowledge self-improvement.
  • Relevant experience in Green Power Plants (Solar/Wind, H2, NH3 green projects).
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in renewable EPC Projects.
  • Able to work at Head Office but may require Site visits of up to 1 month if necessary.

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent English.
  • IT attitude for managing different software.
  • Curiosity and attitude in exploring new and alternative solutions (software or equipment).
  • Team-oriented skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
