Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Strategist

Job Summary:

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Strategist to join our team. As a Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing long-term marketing strategies to drive business growth in the Middle East and Africa region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for specific industries in the Middle East and Africa region
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for lead generation, demand generation, and brand awareness campaigns
  • Build and execute organic and paid campaigns from scratch, including crafting strong messaging and creating visual assets
  • Own webinars and regional offline events, including planning, execution, and post-event strategies
  • Collaborate with the CRM Team to attract, convert, engage, and communicate with new and existing audiences
  • Manage regional budget planning and execution, monitoring and adjusting as needed
  • Collaborate extensively with regional Sales teams to gather insights and implement them into the regional marketing strategy

Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B marketing for enterprise IT products and SaaS
  • Experience working with the Middle East and Africa markets
  • Excellent academic results, with a Bachelor's or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or STEM
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English
  • Hands-on mindset and ability to test marketing assumptions to scale efficient marketing results
  • Growth mindset, with enthusiasm for challenges and a 'can do' attitude
  • Objectivity and openness to others' views, with a positive team spirit
  • Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
