In the position of Radio Network Performance Engineer , you will be an integral part of the Radio Network Optimization team.

Your primary responsibilities will include enhancing and engineering the network, focusing on optimization activities, network architecture, and engineering to improve network efficiency and user satisfaction.

Your specific duties will encompass:

  • Daily review of 3G / 4G / 5G radio network metrics
  • Monitoring network efficiency through KPI / KQI and analysis of network statistics (accessibility, service retention, and service quality)
  • Overseeing optimization initiatives via network performance reports, benchmarking activities, and drive test evaluations
  • Applying site-specific optimization strategies (adjusting mechanical/electrical tilt, azimuth modifications, transmission power settings, adjacency list assessments, etc.) to guarantee peak performance
  • Conducting assessments of radio network parameters
  • Developing, managing, and generating reports on network status and performance
  • Evaluating and integrating new methodologies and technologies pertinent to radio network optimization, features, tests, and enhancements
  • Assisting in the definition phase of processes and procedures for monitoring, optimization, and engineering tasks
  • Investigating and addressing any user feedback

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Comprehensive understanding of 3GPP standards (including 5G), particularly those related to RAN, new technological advancements, and network strategies
  • Profound technical knowledge of mobile network frameworks (WCDMA, LTE, and 5G), radio interfaces, parameters, and services
  • Familiarity and experience with drive test tools and post-analysis (e.g., TEMS, Diversity Benchmarker)
  • Willingness to travel as required

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficient in English, with French as an additional asset
