Electrical Engineer Opportunity at Wood

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex electrical engineering projects in the Chemical, Petrochemical, and Energy industries.

Requirements
  • Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least 10 years of engineering experience in the required industry
  • Excellent leadership skills in Electrical Engineering with ability to handle complex multi-office projects
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proven track record in handling large teams of electrical engineers structured and spread across different offices
  • Conceptual, FEED, and EPC / EPCm experiences
  • Knowledge of international codes & standards; IEC, NEC, ANSI, IEEE, GOST
  • Proven knowledge of industry accepted electrical system analysis software such as ETAP and PTW SKM
  • Ability to use electrical data base, such as Intergraph Smart Electrical and Aveva Electrical, is recommended
  • Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful, and proactive
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Italian
  • Flexible to travel
