Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Product Support Specialist to join our team at Ingersoll Rand. As a key member of our Compression Technologies & Services department, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support for compressor products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders on warranty claims and parts identification.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for distributors on compressor products and warranty procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of warranty claims and parts identification issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve application and conversion issues.
  • Investigate and review engineering documentation to support conversions or machine upgrades.
  • Develop and issue detailed reports to support corrective action.
  • Make technical assessments on warranty claims and decisions to assign defect cost liability.

Requirements

  • Four-year technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional European language.
  • Understanding of Ingersoll Rand products or experience with industrial machinery to component level.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems.
  • Pro-active approach to resolving customer issues and technical aptitude.
