Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing international R&D projects and proposals, focusing on sustainable, decarbonized built environments, smart energy solutions, and climate adaptation across urban and rural landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage EU R&D projects in sustainability, decarbonization, and climate adaptation for both urban and rural environments.
- Develop and manage EU R&D proposals related to the aforementioned areas.
- Build and manage a network of international partners for EU projects.
- Identify and pursue funding and tender opportunities in the field of energy efficiency.
- Contribute to RINA's technical development activities within EU-funded projects while engaging with international partners.
- Prepare and deliver reports and results for European research and innovation projects focused on energy efficiency, decarbonization, and climate mitigation/adaptation.
- Support the creation of new opportunities and proposals in European and international R&D programs.
- Strengthen RINA's network of R&D partners in energy transition, climate mitigation, and adaptation.
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- PhD in a relevant field is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field.
- Fluency in both English and Italian.
- Strong reporting skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to conduct research, organize tasks, and deliver results.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Open to innovation and creativity, with strong networking skills.
