About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our Project Engineering team at Alstom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing system or subsystems architecture, defining and allocating requirements, evaluating design trade-offs, and ensuring technical consistency and alignment with Project Engineering teams throughout the development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop system documents, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Apply system engineering processes to ensure that the system technically fulfils the defined needs and enhancements.
  • Ensure technical consistency and alignment with Project Engineering teams throughout the development.
  • Interact with other System Engineers and Métier engineers to ensure the design fits with the intended architecture.
  • Minimize system deployment cost, lead time, and risks.
  • Contribute to the definition and maintenance of system baselines, analyze and implement change requests.
  • Prepare and participate in design reviews.
  • Contribute to system configuration activities, requirement management activities, and data preparation for ERTMS and SCMT/SSC systems.
  • Ensure that the system follows standardization approach by reusing existing solutions or implementing reusable solutions.
